Every year, we say goodbye to our Year 6 children as they move on to their secondary schools and want to ensure we have done everything possible to make this transition smooth, sending Mead alumni out into the world as leaders in all they do.

Years 4 and 5 have been bursting with excitement for their Bushcraft outing - a three-day, two-night wilderness adventure in the forests of Kent - and this week the day finally came to pack up, set off and have a load of fun learning some outdoor skills with friends.

What a day! The whole school gathered and took part in their programmed events. The crowd cheered and cheered for the children. Picnics were enjoyed in the sun, and the atmosphere couldn't have been better!
