Kent County Council Free Early Education
The Mead participates in the Kent County Council Free Early Education Funding for 3 and 4 year olds. We are able to provide access up to 15 hours a week for 33/34 weeks a year (495 hours maximum out of a possible 570). The remaining entitlement of 75 hours cannot be claimed at another setting. Please refer to our Admissions Policy for further information.
You may be eligible to receive tax-free childcare from the government. This can be used to pay towards school fees up until the term of a child’s 5th birthday as well as some before and after school clubs and activities for children both under and over 5 years old.
Parents need to apply for a Tax-Free Childcare Account. The Mead School is registered on the scheme under no. 118975. Further details and information can be found on the GOV.UK website here.
