Mindset of a Meadite- Ambition

We delve into ambition in our second instalment of the Mindset of a Meadite series. At our school, we wholeheartedly believe in inspiring our children to challenge themselves, take responsibility, and become the best versions of themselves. Ambition is the driving force that propels each child toward their fullest potential.

Ambition is all about inspiring every child to strive for their personal best. It’s about nurturing confidence and self-belief. It doesn’t necessarily mean being the fastest runner or the top math whiz; instead, it’s about encouraging children to embrace challenges and give their best effort. We cultivate a growth mindset and celebrate hard work and determination. Children are frequently recognised for showing ambition with the weekly infant/junior cup awarded ‘stars in the jars’ or ‘ house tokens’ for their dedication.
