Coronavirus Policy

The Mead School considers the welfare and safety of its pupils and staff to be of the utmost importance. We have continued to keep the majority of our comprehensive procedures to minimise the risk of Coronavirus infection within the school.

Education at The Mead School continues as normal. We are able to provide the usual full and varied curriculum so that our pupils do not miss out, with a particular focus on the well-being of every child. We are still providing our after-school clubs and extend the school day to suit working parents’ schedules. In the eventuality that we have to tighten our control measures, a robust programme of learning and activities are in place for each year group. This will ensure that there is little or no interruption to your child’s learning.

The Mead School follows all Government guidance on Coronavirus and has a number of safety measures in place, including:

  • Regular testing for our staff
  • Additional stringent cleaning procedures
  • Strategically placed hand sanitiser stations
