Early Years Events
Big thinking starts small – we’re inviting all little ones and their favourite teddies to discover what life at The Mead is all about through a special series of Teddy Discovery Events.
Designed especially for pre-school children, each session offers a little taste of the experiences, specialist teaching and nurturing environment that make The Mead distinctive – with plenty of opportunities to explore, play and have fun along the way. These events are available for all children – not just students of The Mead!
Bonjour Bear
Date: 25 September 2026, 9:00 -10:20 am
Say bonjour to our first Teddy Discovery! Little learners will step into the world of French through songs, activities and a fun introduction to language and culture.
Music Masters
Date: 27 November 2026, 9:00 -10:20 am
A chance to sing, move and make music together, giving children a taste of the vibrant performing arts opportunities that begin from the very earliest years at The Mead.
Mini Meadites Toddler Group
Our friendly Friday Toddler Group runs every Friday from 8:50 – 10:20 am, offering little ones a chance to sing, play and explore in a warm and welcoming environment. Led by Mrs Hunt, the session includes a fun and engaging singing session, followed by plenty of time for children to play and socialise while parents and caregivers can enjoy a relaxed coffee, meet other local families and build new friendships. It’s a lovely way to start the morning and experience a little of the warm, nurturing community at The Mead.
