We have practical, bespoke and very smart summer and winter uniforms for all our pupils, designed especially for our children.

Uniform provider

All formal schoolwear and sportswear is available from Simmonds of Tunbridge Wells, from whom you can order online or visit their shop at 64 Calverley Street, Tunbridge Wells TN21 2UG Tel: 01892 510123. Name Labels

All pupils should have named items from the first day to avoid any expensive lost property. All clothing and footwear should be clearly named on the inside of the item. Woven name tags are recommended but stick on/iron on tags are acceptable as long as they are robust enough to stay on (particularly on PE kit). Initials in permanent marker on labels are also a recommended back up.

Second-hand uniform

Friends of The Mead runs the sale of second hand uniform, open most Friday afternoons from 3.20 pm. Please contact the school office for further information.

If you would like to donate second-hand uniform, please ensure all items are clean and well presented. In addition, we accept dance kit and shoes along with judo suits. We are unable to accept any non-school uniform items, shoes, sports equipment or old-style uniform/ games kit. Any items which are not accepted for sale will be sent to charity or recycled. Please bring items to the school office during opening hours. Thank you.
