We welcomed princesses, astronauts, knights, dinosaurs and wizards through our door on World Book Day this year!
Our children loved dressing up as their favourite literature characters and enjoyed sitting down to share a book with each other.

With the Olympics currently on our screens, we thought a trip down memory lane to the recently held Mead School Sports day might brighten things up! The sporting prowess was evident and the sun actually shone on 3 out of 4 Sports Days. The team work & sportsmanship throughout made stars of all our Mead school athletes!!

Yet another amazing day to remember at The Mead school! From Kindergarten to Year 6 everyone was invited to the Circus Day workshop on the Astro.

From investigating bark on trees, studying spiders, or creating huts out of sticks and branches! The children always come back both tired and happy after a Mead forest day.

Practical experiments always bring a subject to life and our break-out group on circuits and how they can be modified to generate both light and sound certainly was a big hit with our year 5 girls. Science is for everyone at The Mead School!
ISA DRAMA COMPETITION SUCCESS. Lights, Camera, Action…
Last term year 6 battled against wind, rain and lockdown rehearsals to film their production of A Midsummer Nights Dream. Evidently they did a wonderful job - winning the competition and taking home 2 awards. We could not be more proud! Congratulations Year 6!!
