Adventures from school
The summer term is met with much enthusiasm, mostly by the children because of the fabulous experiences and school trips. Trips are such core memories of school and a way of providing fantastic experiences.
A Swiss Adventure for Year 6
Year 6 embarked on an exciting trip to Switzerland for their end-of-school residential adventure. The journey began with a thrilling plane ride, causing much excitement as some children had never flown before. The children participated in various activities throughout the week, including navigation, rock climbing, team challenges, outdoor skills, and mountain trekking.
Bienvenue Year 5
Year 5 boarded a ferry to France for a cultural adventure. They immersed themselves in the French lifestyle with activities like crepe making, visiting a snail farm, enjoying croissants, exploring a nearby French market town, participating in a chocolate workshop and going on town trails.
Year 4 – Kingswood Activity Centre
Year 4 enjoyed a fantastic three-day stay at the Kingswood Activity Centre. They had a jam-packed schedule filled with exciting activities such as zip lining, problem-solving, laser tag, archery, the 3G swing, scavenger hunts, campfires, team-building exercises and building and testing rafts
Year 3 – Bushcraft Adventure
Year 3 embarked on their Bushcraft adventure as an introduction to school residential trips. The overnight stay in tents taught the children essential survival skills. They particularly enjoyed making burgers and cooking them over a campfire.
These trips have undoubtedly provided the children with unforgettable experiences and a sense of adventure, making their summer term truly special.
