Early Years Sports Day

Pre-Reception and Reception classes participated in a Sports Day. The event is a great way to learn athletics and prepare them for school sporting events.

A Variety of Engaging Activities

The day featured a series of thoughtfully planned activities designed to promote physical development and teamwork:

  • Obstacle Course: Children navigated, hopped over mini-hurdles, dodged cones and took part in a bat and ball challenge.
  • Traditional Races: Classic sprints to the finish line, where their Year 6 buddies had stickers waiting.
  • Fun Hat Run: Participants showcased their creativity by racing in wide a variety of hats – everything from Santa Hats to American Football.
  • Relay Races: Teamwork was the focus as children competed as teams.

Community Spirit and Support

Parents gathered in large numbers, their cheers and applause creating an atmosphere of encouragement and celebration. Teachers and staff ensured that every child felt included and celebrated, reinforcing the school’s commitment to fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment.
